Collaborative Strategies as a Professional Philosophy
It is all about positioning. Whether a company or an organization, to change our position, we need to understand who we are and how we maximize our alliances.
Whether we are trying to shift our position in relationship to our markets, consumers, competition or our own productivity, we must first be clear on how we are positioned in relationship to ourselves.
In order to accomplish this shift in our own perspective, it is crucial that we learn to build stronger and more effective relationships. Changing (if necessary) and utilizing our core beliefs and objectives increases our capabilities and helps us reach our desired goals.
- How we listen affects what we hear.
- The questions we ask determine the information we learn
- We can only do what we know how to do; If we want to do something new we have to learn something new.
Strategy is not about crisis or opportunity. It is about our actionable awareness of who we are and what we want to achieve.
I make the abstract concepts of transparency, accountability and collaboration concrete and applicable to both our professional and personal lives.
